Description

We are seeking an Entry-Level IT Technician to provide technical support throughout our company, Chiyoda USA Corporation. This position will assist employees with computer hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, user accounts, and other IT-related issues. The technician will support both office and manufacturing-floor technology while maintaining a safe, professional, and service-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees.
• Troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, software, and network connectivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers and IT equipment.
• Assist with user accounts, passwords, and system access.
• Support computers, scanners, and other technology used on the manufacturing floor.
• Document service requests, repairs, and equipment changes.
• Maintain IT equipment and inventory.
• Escalate complex technical or network issues to senior IT staff.
• Follow company IT, cybersecurity, and safety procedures.
• Provide professional and timely customer service to plant employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Windows, and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new technology and manufacturing systems.
• Ability to safely work in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• IT education, CompTIA A+ certification, or previous help-desk/technical experience is preferred but not required.
